Sara Ramalho

Sara Ramalho is a Student Support Specialist at Forward Thinking, where she helps students find confidence in their academic journeys and personal growth. With a background in linguistics and a deep passion for wellbeing and mental health, she is dedicated to fostering a warm and supportive space where young people can thrive.

Sara studied in both Portugal and the UK and holds two Master’s degrees, one in Human Rights and another in Psychology, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. Before joining Forward Thinking, she spent over ten years working as a linguist, where she developed strong communication skills and a deep understanding of how language and self-expression shape confidence, identity, and connection.

She brings this experience to her work with students, encouraging them to discover their strengths and make choices that align with who they are. Sara believes education is more than reaching a goal. It’s a journey of self-discovery and growth, and she is committed to supporting each student along the way.

A strong advocate for balance and wellbeing, Sara enjoys yoga, hiking, and running. She finds peace in nature, loves exploring new cuisines, and often spends her free time
reading and looking to expand her home library.

Sara’s warmth, curiosity, and commitment to wellbeing guide both her professional and personal life. At Forward Thinking, she strives to make every student feel valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
