Ria Dave

Ria Dave grew up between London and Dubai, experiences that sparked her love for learning and her appreciation for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Her passion for psychology began at the age of 13, inspiring her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Essex. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in educational and cultural psychology, with a particular focus on mental health and well-being, areas that continue to guide her professional practice today.

Before moving into education, Ria worked in the field of learning and development within the corporate sector, where she supported and facilitated training programmes designed to foster professional growth and enhance workplace culture. Through this experience, she gained valuable insight into how people learn, develop, and thrive when supported by empathy and understanding. It also deepened her commitment to promoting mental well-being and personal growth in both professional and educational settings.

Now, Ria channels that same passion for development into guiding students as they navigate their academic journeys and future aspirations. As a British Council Certified Counselor with a strong foundation in psychological research and a deep commitment to education, she is dedicated to supporting students in their academic progress, personal development, and overall well-being. In her current role, she takes a thoughtful, evidence-informed, and empathetic approach to helping students explore opportunities, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential.

Outside of her professional work, Ria values quality time with friends and family. She enjoys keeping up with the latest research in psychology, particularly in areas related to
mental health and positive development, and finds balance through gaming and other creative hobbies that allow her to unwind and express herself.
